We live in a world where sound is always around us and we quickly get used to it. Even if the noise level is very high. At noise levels above 80 dB, hearing damage can occur. If you consider that a concert has an average noise level of 90 dB to 110 dB, you understand that wearing quality hearing protection is necessary.

There are different types of hearing protection, ready-made but also custom-made otoplastics.

If you intend to wear your hearing protection frequently, opt for a bespoke fit.
They are always more comfortable to wear than the off-the-shelf versions.

We supply hearing protection for music, swimming, motor sports, sleeping, flying, work etc.

Different types of earplugs

We have custom-made earplugs for different types of protection. Of course, all of these are also available in ready-made versions in our shop:

  • earplugs for motorbike
  • earplugs for musicians
  • earplugs while sleeping
  • aeroplane earplugs
  • Earplugs for work and hobby

Why customised hearing protection?

Most of the time, ordinary earplugs are a fine solution. However, if you wear them a lot you may need customisation. This may be the case if you work in a high-noise environment, if your partner snores loudly or if you spend a lot of time on aeroplanes. Custom-made earplugs have a better fit and are therefore more comfortable and you are more assured of optimal protection.

To customise earplugs, it is necessary to take impressions of your ears. This is not invasive, feel free to contact us for an appointment.

Customised hearing protection

Custom-made earplugs seal your ear with perfectly fitting earpieces.
These earplugs sit slightly deeper in the ear canal and are therefore less visible than standard earplugs.
Custom-made earplugs filter out harmful loud noises, whilst still allowing you to hold a conversation as normal.
Custom-made earplugs normally last an average of four years.

Our hearing protection range offers you a variety of options to protect your hearing - in virtually all situations. From simple earplugs to comfortable personal hearing protection, we offer an extensive range of effective hearing protection products.

After a personal consultation and recommendation, the path to customised hearing protection essentially consists of three simple steps:

Fitting

The basis for the manufacture of personal hearing protection is the ear impression. Taking an ear impression is done by our qualified audio specialist in the shop and takes about 20 minutes.

Manufacture

The ear impressions taken by the audio specialist are digitised in a 3D scanner. For further processing, this 3D data is read by special software, through which your personal hearing protection is manufactured step by step. In the end, a perfectly fitting product is created.

Collect

You can collect your personal hearing protection after about 12 working days. Upon delivery, the fit will be tested and you will receive advice on use, maintenance and service for the hearing protectors.
